Angel Manuel Torres

Angel Manuel Torres Sr., born on August 25, 1946, in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico, peacefully departed this life on December 14, 2024, in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He was a devoted family man, committed to his loved ones and his faith in Christ.

Angel was a source of warmth and inspiration to everyone he met. His dedication to family and the teachings of Christ were evident in all aspects of his life. He took great pride in his ability to cater to all, ensuring that everyone felt welcomed and valued. His passion for sharing the message of Christ brought comfort and joy to many, as he lovingly spoke to everyone about his beliefs.

Throughout his life, Angel nurtured a wonderful array of hobbies and interests. He had a profound love for baseball, cherished moments spent fishing, and engaged in countless games of dominoes, which brought him joy and created bonds with those around him.

Angel leaves a legacy of love and faith that will forever resonate with his family and friends. He is survived by his beloved wife, Carmen E. Rivera; his son, Angel M. Torres Jr.; his daughter-in-law, Lydia Torres; his daughter, Ivelisse Torres; and his son-in-law, Victor Agosto, a multitude of siblings, nephews, nieces and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Modesto Torres, and his mother, Confessora Nuñez. As we remember the life of Angel Manuel Torres, we celebrate a man who devoted himself to his family and his faith, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him. His memory will continue to inspire and guide his loved ones through the values and kindness he imparted.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024 from 11:00 -1:00 PM, at Nuevo Amanecer Church, 240 Asylum Street, Bridgeport, CT.
