Andres Grajales Daumont, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on December 4,2024, in New Haven, Connecticut. He was born on October 14, 1951, in Manhattan, New York, and spent his life dedicated to both his profession and his family.

Before becoming disabled, Andres worked as a devoted construction worker, contributing his skills to the creation of hundreds of bridges across the picturesque island of Puerto Rico. His work left a lasting mark on the landscape, and his pride in his craft was evident in every project he undertook.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Andres was known for his honorable and humble nature. He never held a grudge and led his life with kindness, leaving an indelible impression on those who had the pleasure of knowing him. He often reminisced about the joy of spending time with family, which was one of his greatest passions.

Andres enjoyed various interests, including watching novelas and episodes of CSI, and he found pleasure in listening to music by Karol G. He is survived by his children: Jon Andrew Grajales, Aileen Denise Ashley, Yasmin Grajales, Andres Grajales Jr., Ninoshka Marie Grajales and Dominice Johnson, as well as his granddaughter Aileen Marie Rodriguez, who brought him much joy in his later years.

Andres was predeceased by his beloved mother, Mercedes Daumont, and his father, Pablo Grajales. He leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and respect that will live on in the hearts of those he cherished.

Visitation services will be held at Funeraria Luz De Paz in Bridgeport, Connecticut, on December 14, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to come together to honor the life and memory of Andres Grajales Daumont, a man whose humility and love for his family were exemplary.
