Ana M. Murfi, born on September 5, 1931, peacefully passed away on November 8, 2024, at the Mosaic Healthcare Center in Bridgeport, CT. Ana was a humble, vibrant woman who lived life to the fullest. She had a natural zest for life, always bringing energy, laughter, and joy to those around her. A lover of dancing, music, and social gatherings, she embraced every moment with enthusiasm. Whether it was trying her luck at a game of chance or simply enjoying a day of shopping, Ana found joy in the simple pleasures of life.

Widowed in 1972, Ana channeled her strength and dedication to raising her children and providing them with a loving, supportive home. The early departure of her late husband Anselmo Moreno Sr. gave her the determination to persevere.   She was known for her unwavering support, outgoing spirit, and selfless love for her family.

She is survived by her beloved children: Carmen L. Acosta (Luis), Miriam Agosto (Manuel), Anselmo Moreno, her daughter in law Olga and Ramon “Ray” Moreno (Evelyn).  Ana was a proud grandmother to Lillian Acosta, Luis Acosta Jr., Rosemarie Moreno, Eddie Moreno, Lissette Moreno, Ray Moreno Jr., Zoraida Moreno, Sophia Moreno, and Ricardo Moreno, and she cherished her 13 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind many other relatives and dear friends who will miss her dearly.  She was predeceased by her son Heriberto Moreno.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 6 to 9 PM at Funeraria Luz de Paz, located at 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.  All can gather on Friday, November 15 at 8 am at Funeraria Luz de Paz for a procession to St Michael's Cemetery in Stratford, CT. 

Ana will be remembered for her kindness, unwavering love, and the light she brought into the lives of all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace.
