Ana Celia Gonzalez

Ana Celia Gonzalez, 95, of Milford, CT has returned to the loving arms of the Lord on April 26, 2022, in her daughter's home surrounded by the love of her family.  She was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico to the late Ramon Lopez and the late Jovita Vazquez.  She is the beloved wife of Pedro Gonzalez of over 64 years.

Ana was an elegant and gracious woman who had a kind word and a warm smile for all those whose paths she crossed.  She had a bountiful green thumb and found solace in her garden.  She enjoyed animals and was very fond of hummingbirds.  She was a devout Catholic who prayed fervently.  She was meticulous about the care of her home and took great pride in its care.  Of all her accomplishments her greatest was her family.  They were her absolute priority.  All of the delish feasts that she prepared were seasoned with a dash of love.

Aside from her beloved husband, Pedro, Ana leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving children and their spouses; Anna and Manuel Irizarry, Nilda Gonzalez, Maria Chitren, Iris and Edwin Nieves, Dory and Mike Wiley, Nancy Valle, Janet and David Stayrook, Mirtha Gonzalez, Pedro Jr. and Carolyn Gonzalez, Ivet and Edward Ortiz and Enit and Jorge Colon, 27 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, her loyal siblings Maria Maldonado, Mario Lopez and Jose Lopez and a host of friends and relatives that will miss her sorely.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, May 1, 2022, from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM. then again on Monday, May 2, 2022, at 10:00 AM.  at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.   Interment will follow immediately after at Mt. Grove Cemetery, 2675 North Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.
