Alcadia Ayala Quiñones

Alcadia Ayala Quiñones, 73, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on May 26, 2022, surrounded by the love of her family.  She was born to the late Julio Quiñones and the late Julia Rodriguez in St. Croix, USVI.

Alcadia was a very unique individual.  She enjoyed listening to music especially traditional cultural music as well as singing.  She was a very family-centered person who cherished the time she spent traveling to visit with her family.  

Alcadia leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving children Juanita Acosta, Maria Ayala, Miguel Ayala, Manuel Ayala, Julio Ayala, Ivan Ayala, Victor Quiles, 9 precious grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and her dear siblings Juanita Ramos and Wilfredo Quiñones and a host of friends and family that will miss her dearly.  She is predeceased by a son Samuel Ayala and 8 siblings.  

Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022, from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.  Burial will follow immediately after at Pine Grove Cemetery, 15 Church St., Ansonia, CT.
