Alberto Luis Colon, a beloved soul who graced this world with his infectious smile and hearty laughter, has departed from our midst. His passing on the 1st of May, 2024, in Ansonia, CT, has left a profound void in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Born on November 13, 1990, in Bridgeport, CT, Alberto was a man of diverse interests and passions. He found solace and joy in the artistry of Tattoos, admiring the creativity and talent behind each design. Video Games were another realm where he immersed himself, relishing in thrilling competitions that challenged his skills. However, nothing stirred his excitement quite like watching Death Match Wrestling - a passion that ignited a fire within him.
Alberto proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for five years, from 2010 to 2015. He embodied the core values of the Marines – Semper Fidelis (Always Faithful) – and carried that dedication with him throughout his life.
Alberto's devotion to family was unparalleled. He cherished moments spent with his children and nephews, considering them an indispensable part of his life. His children and his nephews held a special place in his heart, intertwined with love and shared experiences that will forever be treasured.
In the embrace of grief but also fond remembrance are Alberto's surviving family members: his wife Jasmine L. Colon; his children Aubree Colon, Tessa Taplin, and Trey Taplin; his mother Julia Colon; his brothers Anthony L Colon, Michael L. Colon and his wife, Ashley, and Angel Diaz; his nephews Grayson and Levi; his aunts Gloria Reveron and Aida Ortiz; along with other significant individuals whom he held dear to his heart - Stephanie, Ronnie, Nancy, Ben, Moe, Uncle Mike, Tio Pete; and a multitude of cousins, and friends whose lives were enriched by his presence.
His memories will forever echo through those who had the honor of sharing in his journey - his smile illuminating their darkest days and his laughter resonating as a melody of joy.
As we gather to pay our last respects the family kindly extends the invitation to a visitation service at the Funeraria Luz De Paz, 426 E.
