Abigail Arroyo, 60, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on August 18, 2021 in Bridgeport Hospital. She was born in Brooklyn, NY to Angel Arroyo and Carmen Santos. She was a Bridgeport resident for many years
Abigail was a very humble woman who enjoyed the simplicity of life. She found solace in the comfort of her home and family. She could often be found wearing one of her favorite "batas" around the house while enjoying some great TV especially some reality TV, Caso Cerrado, Jerry and Maury, as well as classics like Touched by an Angel and Saved by the Bell. When she did venture out she loved going to Massimo Pizza for some great Italian food. Her greatest pleasure in life however, was the time she spent being "Mima" during the visits of her grandchildren cherishing those moments and giving them the love they always got from grandma!
Abigail leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving children; Erica, Angel, Jose and Michael, her adoring grandchildren Michael, Dyaine, Noah, Hailey, Wyatt and Alanie, Joseley and Jacob, her siblings Israel, Elizabeth, Evelyn and Angel and a host of family and friends that will miss her sorely.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.
Proper mask usage (OVER MOUTH AND NOSE) is required for admittance and at all while inside the funeral home regardless of vaccination status, in accordance to City of Bridgeport for the health and safety of all, at all times! We understand this is cumbersome, but in comparison, the current situation engulfing parts of our country at this time requires these measures to be taken.
